By train

  • Arcachon railway station : 6 miles to the Pyla or 50 miles to the Cap Ferret. There are regular boat shuttles to the Cap Ferret (20 minutes) from Arcachon.
  • Bordeaux TGV station : 37 miles to Pyla or 45 miles to Cap Ferret
