This nice house for rent in the Hautes-Alpes is an ideal place for holidays with friends or family. A true haven of peace, this former 17th century farmhouse has been renovated using a very contemporary architectural approach. The house of more than 350m2 is articulated on three levels with a main room including a kitchen open to the dining room and a living room furnished with designer furniture. There are iconic pieces by Ray and Charles Eames, Jean Prouvé and Hans Wegner. The large bay windows open onto the terrace and a beautiful heated swimming pool measuring 10 by 4 meters as well as a concrete jacuzzi, with a breathtaking view of the walnut orchard and the mountains. The five bedrooms all have their own bathroom, decorated with the greatest care, and perfectly equipped. There is an outdoor kitchen and a dining area under a large oak tree. It is equipped with a wood-burning oven and barbecue as well as an outdoor refrigerator to keep your bottles of rosé cool. A studio attached to the house that can accommodate two additional people can be rented at an additional cost.
The house is located in the heart of nature, in a small hamlet in the Hautes-Alpes, at the foot of the mountains of the Southern Alps. You will be 35 minutes driving from Haute Provence and its lavender fields, from Drôme Provençale as well as from the first ski resorts, such as the Dévoluy.
