Dordogne, Lot, Gers & Aveyron
Lovers of calm and nature will succumb to the charm of this beautiful renovated farmhouse to rent in the Black Perigord for 8 persons. In this old farmhouse, a lot of importance has been given to the choice of materials and to the quality of the restoration of the fittings: the old beams have been preserved, the washbasins have been carved in an oak trunk or in the Burgundy stone. The charm of the old and the authentic rub shoulders with modern comfort. In the main house, you will find a living room of 40 m2 including a kitchen open to the dining room, and the living room facing its fireplace, the "cantou" of yesteryear with generous proportions, typical of southwest France. Two master bedrooms and their bathrooms can accommodate four people. An outbuilding, perfect for a family with children, is equipped with two bedrooms and a bathroom, for four people. Outside, calm reigns. You can lounge around the pool and admire the borie at the bottom of the garden, so typical of the region. Lounge and dining areas have been set up.
This house is located in a quiet area, in Tourtoirac, a nice little village at 40 minutes from Périgueux. You will be surrounded by numerous castles, caves, classified villages and will be able to do many outdoor activities. Restaurants and shops are only a few minutes away by car.

"This beautiful farmhouse, renovated with great care by heritage lovers, is a true haven of peace and history. A barn attached to the farm houses a private museum that explains to the young (and not so young) how people once lived in the area." Olivia Bartoli
